The house is owned by the visual artist Khalifa Al-Qattan and his Italian wife, Lydia Al-Qattan, where they lived. After the death of Khalifa Al-Qattan, his wife Lydia converted the house into a museum, becoming one of the wonderful artistic landmarks in the State of Kuwait. The house bears this name because it contains mirrors of different shapes and colors that the artist Lydia covered the house with.
