Al-Shaheed Park is the largest urban park in Kuwait. The first phase opened on March 4, 2015, followed by the second phase on April 12, 2017. Work is currently underway on the third phase, which will be completed soon. The park is located on the outskirts of Kuwait City, covering a total area of approximately 619,000 square meters. It includes notable landmarks such as the Constitution Monument, Peace Square, the Homeland Museum, and the Memorial Museum, which showcases key battles in Kuwait's history, including the Battle of Raqqa, the Battle of Al-Sarif, and the Battle of Al-Jahra. Al-Shaheed Park is one of the most significant projects undertaken by the Amiri Diwan, highlighting Kuwait's cultural heritage. Originally known as the ""Green Belt"" Park, it was demolished and redesigned to become the iconic Al-Shaheed Park, which is also considered the oldest traditional garden in Kuwait.
