Located in northeastern Kuwait, this natural reserve spans a total area of 330 square kilometers. Its primary goal is to resettle animals and plants threatened with extinction and to preserve Kuwait's natural environmental characteristics. The reserve encompasses Umm Al-Rum Lake, which covers an area of 16.5 square kilometers. The lake was formed by pumping water into the Wadi Umm Al-Rimam depression.
